UC Irvine
Located in Orange County, Science Olympiad at UCI represents a group of undergraduates and graduate students that band together for the purpose of providing STEM education and competition for the local community. UCI Science Olympiad Alumni, with the OCDE, has long hosted the Orange County Regionals and brought dozens of schools to our campus. In addition to hosting the annual Regional Tournament, our Event Supervisors support surrounding tournaments through volunteering, test writing, and event supervising.
Our members have the unique opportunity to enroll in and receive credit for the UCI-OCDE offered Test Writing Course, where first-time and experienced writers learn about their events and how to write effective Science Olympiad exams. Writers will also be paired with University Professors to review their exams and receive personal feedback.
We're always looking for passionate Anteaters who want to make a positive impact in their community and give back. Whether this is your first rodeo or not, we'd love to have you join us! We're in need of Test Writers, Event Supervisors, and General Volunteers who want to make a difference! Contact Antonio Velasco or catch us at the Anteater Involvement Fair for more information.
